Unofficial profile

Most company profiles on rev.africa are marked as “Unofficial profile”. This page explains what that means.

What is an unofficial profile?

An unofficial profile, including its description and images, was created automatically from publicly available information, mainly the company's own website. It was not created, checked or approved by the company itself. We publish these profiles so that companies can be found and reviewed, and so that their representatives can later take full control of the page. We list companies (legal entities) only, and we notify each company by email when its profile is published.

Why are the images AI-generated?

Until a company claims its profile, we have no authentic photos from it. To avoid empty pages we may use illustrative images generated by artificial intelligence. Please note that:

• the images are illustrative only;
• they are not verified by the company;
• they may not accurately show the company, its products or services;
• they are replaced with real photos once the profile is claimed.
