rev.africa works only if reviews are honest and useful. Please follow these rules.
Write about your own experience
- Review a business only if you have used its products or services, or contacted it.
- Describe what happened: what you bought, when, what went well and what did not.
- One review per business per experience. You can update your review if things change.
Be fair and respectful
- Criticism is welcome; insults, threats, hate speech and discrimination are not.
- Do not name or describe individual employees in a way that identifies them, and do not post anyone's personal data.
- Do not make allegations of crimes you cannot support; report suspected crimes to the police.
No conflicts of interest
- Do not review your own business, your employer, a family member's business or a competitor.
- Do not accept money, discounts, gifts or other benefits for a review.
Keep it relevant
- No advertising, links to other sites, spam or SEO content.
- No political, religious or off-topic posts.
- Photos must be your own and relate to the business.
Reviews that break these rules may be removed and accounts suspended. See our Moderation Policy.
