About rev.africa

rev.africa is an independent directory of companies operating in African countries — starting with Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Tanzania and Uganda, where customers can share honest reviews of the companies they have dealt with.

What we do

• We publish basic, publicly available information about companies (legal entities): name, website, address, general contact details and category. We do not list sole traders or private persons.
• Every company is notified by email when its profile is published and can correct or remove it at any time.
• Customers can leave reviews and ratings based on their own experience.
• Business owners can claim their profile for free, correct their details, add photos and reply to reviews.

Independent and free

rev.africa is currently completely free for consumers and for businesses. We do not sell reviews, we do not remove negative reviews for payment and we do not let businesses pay for better ratings. Profiles with extra visibility can only be granted by our administration, free of charge.

Honest reviews

Fake reviews mislead consumers and are unlawful in many countries. We take reasonable steps to detect and remove fake, incentivised or manipulated reviews. Read more in our Moderation Policy and Community Guidelines.
