The Tiglachin Monument, also known as the Derg Monument, stands in Addis Ababa to honour those involved in the Ogaden War. It features a central statue atop a pedestal inscribed with words commemorating fallen heroes and their immortal actions. The monument includes a high pillar decorated with the Heroes' Medal, alongside two wall reliefs that depict various stages of Ethiopia's revolutionary process under Mengistu Haile Mariam. To the sides are smaller squares displaying portraits of Cuban soldiers who fought in the conflict. Today, the monument has fallen into disrepair and neglect.
