National Heroes' Acre, a 23-hectare site near Harare, serves as a burial ground and monument to commemorate guerrillas and other individuals dedicated to the nation. It is particularly significant in recognising fighters from the Rhodesian Bush War era. The design of this memorial was influenced by North Korea's Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery.
