National Church of Nigeria
Designed in a Postmodern interpretation of Neo-Gothic style by Darchiwork Group from Lagos, the church stands as a significant architectural feature. Its construction began around 1989 but was resumed and completed only in 2004 under the oversight of the Christian Association of Nigeria. The dedication ceremony on October 2, 2005, marked both its completion and Nigeria's independence anniversary.
Featuring pivoted arches and a wide nave leading to a rotating altar that completes a full turn every ten minutes, the church is adorned with stained glass windows in shades of yellow, green, and red. A pipe organ resides near the choir area. When not hosting Christian services, it welcomes visitors through guided tours, sometimes requiring a guide's accompaniment.
