Nestled along State House Road in the Kilimani area of Nairobi, Kenya, Nairobi Arboretum was established in 1907 by Mr Batiscombe to experiment with new forestry trees. In 1932, it was declared a national reserve by the government and received its title deed from the Commissioner of Lands in 1996.
