The Fr. Mapeera and Brother Amansi monument was erected by the Missionaries of Africa in Entebbe to honour two pioneering White Fathers who arrived in Uganda on a mission to spread Christianity. The memorial, which portrays the missionaries dressed in white and kneeling in prayer, is situated at Kigungu landing site near Kigungu Catholic Church, just behind Entebbe International Airport within Wakiso District.
